What we are
An editorial site, funded commercially
Jackpot Draft compares online casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission for customers in Great Britain. The work is straightforward: open an account-free look at each site, score it against the same eight criteria, write down what we found, and publish the result whether or not the operator will like it.
The money comes from affiliate commission. When a reader clicks through to an operator and registers, that operator may pay us a fee. Nothing changes for the reader, and nothing changes about the score — the numbers and the criticism are set before any tracking link goes on a page. It is worth saying plainly that this is the model behind almost every casino comparison site you will encounter; the difference lies in whether a site admits it and whether the ranking survives contact with the commercial team. The narrow remit, explained
Mobile and app experience is the spine of everything here because that is where nearly all casino play now happens, and because it is the part most reviews skate over in a sentence. A site can have a magnificent game catalogue and still be tedious to use on the device you actually hold. We think that is worth scoring properly rather than mentioning in passing.
Boundaries
What this site is and is not for
Being clear about the limits saves everyone time, and it stops readers arriving with a problem we have no ability to solve.

- Will not publish
- Invented statistics, fabricated user testimonials, urgency language, or any suggestion that gambling is a route to income. If a fact cannot be checked, it does not go on the page.
Method
How a score gets built
The licence check is pass or fail. An operator without a current Gambling Commission licence for remote casino play does not appear on this site in any form, regardless of what it might be willing to pay.
Everything after that is scored: mobile navigation, app availability and quality, the size and spread of the game range, live dealer coverage, the studios supplying content, the structure of the welcome offer, and the support routes that actually exist. The first two carry the most weight, which is why an operator with a maintained app tends to finish about a point ahead of an equivalent one without.
Where we are working from an editorial read rather than a documented fact, the wording says so. Where a brand is small enough that its catalogue and promotions shift regularly, we say that too, because a snapshot presented as permanent record would be misleading. Corrections
