Who this covers

This policy applies to jackpotdraft.co.uk, an independent comparison site published in the United Kingdom. It does not apply to the operators we link to. Once you leave this site and arrive at a casino, that operator's own privacy notice governs everything that happens next, including anything it collects during registration.

What we collect

Email you send us

If you write to hello@jackpotdraft.co.uk, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with the point you raised, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case the matter recurs. Nothing is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. Please do not send account numbers, passwords or payment details — we have no use for them and no ability to act on them.

Aggregate analytics

We measure which pages are read and which comparisons get attention, in aggregate, so that editorial effort goes where it is useful. This is counting, not profiling: it tells us that the head-to-head section is popular, not who read it. If a measurement cookie is set, it is only after you have chosen to accept it in the notice at the foot of the page. Declining leaves the site fully functional — every comparison, link and page works identically either way.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical information about requests, including IP address, user agent and the page requested. This is a normal part of serving a website securely and diagnosing faults, and the retention period is set by the provider rather than by us.

Outbound link tracking

Links to operators carry tracking parameters so that a registration can be attributed to this site. That attribution happens at the operator's end, under their privacy notice, not ours. We receive commercial reporting about referrals in aggregate — numbers, not names. The affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not build advertising profiles or run behavioural retargeting. We do not attempt to identify individual readers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and this site is intended for adults only.

Your rights

What you can ask for

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, provide a copy of it, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also object to processing or ask that it be restricted. In practice, for most readers the answer to the first question is that we hold nothing at all, because you have never sent us an email.

Requests go to hello@jackpotdraft.co.uk and we will respond within the statutory period of one month. Where analytics data is concerned, it is aggregated and not linked to an identifiable person, so it cannot meaningfully be extracted or deleted for a single individual.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's independent data protection authority, at ico.org.uk.

Lawful bases

We rely on legitimate interests for correspondence and for the secure operation of the site, and on consent for any non-essential measurement cookie. Consent can be withdrawn by clearing this site's storage in your browser, which removes the record of your earlier choice and brings the notice back.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it and the revised version replaces this one here. We do not maintain a separate archive of previous versions, and there is no notification list to be added to.
